[edit] Fangleaf
Motile plants resembling the Venus' flytrap of earth's realm. They typically grow deep in the hearts of forests and bogs. When there are extended periods of bright sunlight and heat, they wander in search of prey that could be as large as a mouse or lizard. Their "flytraps" "jaws" are split down the hinge and then have the bristle covered rind that face into the mouth removed. What remains is a strongly flavored patty. The tentacle-like roots can also be eaten after their leather outer peel is removed.

A plant which produces a flower with sweet tasting, golden colored petals. Its stamen curve in towards each other in a formation resembling jaws. It gets its name from the lion-like appearance of the flower. The flower sits atop a long stem.

Gold to orangish colored berries that grow on low bushes.
