A monotheistic religion that portrays God as having made the world to produce good company for himself. He is distant, but attentive and interacts with the terrestrial world only indirectly through messangers and prophets.

A particularly significant angelic messanger is Therizine, the angel of death. Therizine is held to look like a giant praying mantis.

[edit] Death and the afterlife
They don't burn the bodies of their dead, as they believe that the soul is naturally pure and rises of its own accord. The souls of the weak and very young only make it as far as Chizena. There they wait in limbo until they are returned to Eirbane. Stronger souls make it to Gobal for judgement. Evil souls are condemned to burn in the sun, whose light is made of purified souls falling back to Eirbane. Righteous souls dwell at Gobal with God until they choose to return to Eirbane on some divine mission.
