Roebuck Melanion was raised in a relatively poor household, she had many siblings. Her parents needed her help in earning enough to live on. Roe was a hyper-active trouble maker, so she had a difficult time holding a job.

Shortly after the Atelds of Operation Firebrand arrive in Ackerly, Roe renders assistance to them. Impressed, they hire her as a guide in order to stray from well-used roads. Roe is thrilled to get to travel and her family is thrilled to be actually getting paid to get rid of her.

Roe and Theron reign over devastated Giraun and have reforged bonds of friendship between their nation and the Beithallis.
She is the female Heir of Life.
