[edit] Childhood and Youth
Rolun Blaewyn was born to a couple of somewhat poor Vistatan Jiranite farmers. Both of them died due to an illness that swept through town when he was a child. They were his only family, and since no other Vistatan family was willing to adopt him, he was without anyone to care for him. He has since eeked out a living by subsistence farming a small plot of his late family's land, performing odd jobs for townsfolk, by mooching off of Zreig, and occasionally by stealing. He has a reputation for being a local hoodlum and is widely dismissed as merely being Zreig's lackey.
[edit] Giraunian Invasion
After Vistatus is attacked, Rolun is hired by Wayland to prevent Choler from trying to follow him and the others in the team going south to Rescue Selah and the other hostages. Rolun fails at this task due to involvement from Lori Chandelle. As Choler and Lori progress south through the Agru Forest, Rolun begrudgingly tags along hoping to persuade them to turn back.
When that doesn't happen and the group arrives in the occupied Dellaset, Rolun begins cooperating, seeing as how his life is now in danger. Choler's and now Rolun's mission is a minor success and the group, now with help from Varsden, Wayland, Zreig and Kregger returns northward through the forest.
[edit] Death
Shortly after returning to Vistatus, Rolun and Zreig let off some steam by beating Choler up again. Choler had been severely stressed out, to the point of a breakdown. This bad timing ends up resulting in Rolun's death. Rolun is killed by Choler while sleeping on the morning Choler sets out with Varsden north through the Nylae Floodplains.

Rolun’s parents are farmers in the southwest part of Vistatus. His family has kept to itself as much as possible ever since its arrival in Vistatus. This is because they are the only family of Giraunian descent living there. Under these conditions Rolun grew up feeling uncertain about his national loyalty and cultural heritage. So he hung out with Zreig. Rolun vented his insecurities on Choler. This was how he lived. He never felt comfortable about joining the military, or at home. So he wandered around Vistatus as much as possible. He bullied Choler for no reason other than his own inner tension. He feels guilty about it though, and this adds even more anger against Choler, even though Choler never wronged him. Rolun is now considering leaving Vistatus, but is still unsure of himself and delays the move.
